BDM7
Alloy Type: HARDFACING Core, Bare, and Coated Electrodes
BDM7 is a tubular wire for gas shielded metal arc hardsurfacing giving a tough high speed steel deposit. It has exceptional wear resistance in cold cutting operations. BDM7 keeps its properties to 600°C. Hardness may be increased to around 65 HRc by tempering.
Applications: BDM7 is used for hardfacing components subject to metal-to metal under conditions of moderate impact. Examples: Machining tools, cold shearing blades, milling cutters, knives and wire guides.
